Privacy Policy:

Any information gathered from our clients is used solely for administrative purposes and the promotion of Le Roi Diamonds. We will not distribute, sell, share, or rent this information to any other organisation or individual.

Prices:

Le Roi Diamonds offer thousands of E.G.L, D.I.A, I.D.L. and G.I.A certified Diamond and Jewellery Designs.

Sometimes an item maybe priced incorrectly due to our complex algorithms, human error, foreign exchange adjustments, acts of God or diamonds selling simultaneously and not being available (the best ones don't last long).

In the rare occasion that one of these circumstances affect the pricing or availability of a particular product on our website Le Roi Diamonds are not committed to sell and will give you the immediate option to cancel your purchase and obtain a refund.

The price includes Free insured delivery, local taxes, a stunning presentation box and full documentation.

Diamond Certificates:

A Diamond Certificate is a very important document as it details the characteristics of the Diamond that you purchase. A diamond certificate can and are issued by many businesses, organisations, private individuals and laboratories; their interpretation of the diamond is exactly that 'their interpretation'.

It is therefore very important that the diamond certificate is issued by a neutral body that is extremely accurate, prudent and well respected on a Global scale.

The laboratories we us is E.G.L, D.I.A, I.D.L.and G.I.A for grading and selling our diamonds.

Ethical Diamonds:

Le Roi Diamonds sell only conflict free and ethically mined diamonds that are respectful to nature and the environment. The Diamonds we sell originate from Kimberley Certified and United Nations approved countries. The Mining Firms within these Countries support the following Principles:

• Polluter Responsibility

• Basic Rights - including Human Rights, Labour Rights, Rights to Development, Rights to a Healthy Environment and Indigenous peoples Rights.

Guarantee:

We Guarantee all workmanship defects on our products for 24 months. We offer an after sale service of Polishing, Cleaning, Adjustments and Sizing which is chargeable at material cost and shipping - our labour is Free to existing clients.

Please note that Diamonds do not come out of their setting voluntarily but must be pushed, hit or forced. We will gladly reset your diamond if you damage a setting but the loss of a Diamond is an insurance issue and not covered by our Guarantee.

Each diamond ring or item leaves our office with the Diamond securely set and would not come loose in 1000s of years but will if force is applied - that force we have no control over so please respect and care for your jewellery. Please insure your Diamond Jewellery against loss and theft.

Shipping:

Our products are shipped via insured registered courier that requires a signature and identification. f we don’t carry the stock ourselves it can take from one day up to two weeks for a very specific diamond to be identified through our suppliers, depending on the criteria of the product.

Once this process has been finalised, we will inform our client and payment is then required within one week (5 working days). Delays in shipping are very rare but out of our immediate control; the following can delay delivery: strikes, customs clearance, weather and acts of God like earthquakes, human error, technology and events out of our immediate control.

Your item is fully insured until you take the delivery so you can relax and enjoy the convenience while we ensure efficient delivery.

14% Value Added Tax must be added to all purchases in South Africa.

Due to the tedious and costly South African Export requirements, we will only conduct international exports for polished diamond purchases over US$2500-00, which can comprise one or more polished diamonds.

Fully insured shipping costs are to be added to the price, i.e. US$250-00 for international shipping and R250-00 for local shipping in South Africa.

If we don’t carry the stock ourselves it can take from one day up to two weeks for a very specific diamond to be identified through our suppliers, depending on the criteria of the product. Once this process has been finalised, we will inform our client and payment is then required within one week (5 working days).

We only accept direct bank payments or electronic funds transfer transactions (EFT) as a method of payment. We will provide our Banking information upon confirmation of an order.

Diamonds are usually shipped within three business days upon receipt of payment by our bankers, and no diamonds will be shipped until payment has been received in full.

Diamond deliveries cannot be made to PO Boxes, only to confirmed physical addresses.

Every diamond is shipped with an invoice and an original grading certificate and is fully insured for shipping.

RAM International or Brinks are our preferred hand to hand couriers for diamonds.

Returns and Refunds:

Le Roi Diamonds will accept the return of any polished diamond sold by our company, subject to the following conditions:

• For a full refund, polished diamonds must be returned to us within 10 days of receiving them in their original condition.

• Refunds will be in the original form of payment or by electronic funds transfer (EFT).

• Original shipping costs will be deducted from all refunds.

• Diamonds returned for refunds are inspected by an accredited grading laboratory upon receipt prior to any refunds. Diamonds that do not match product data in our records will be returned and a refund refused.

• After returning polished diamonds, please notify us directly of a tracking number and date. Please insure the polished diamonds against loss in transit, and pay freight and handling costs in advance.

Le Roi Diamonds will not be held responsible for any polished diamond that is not returned in accordance with these terms.

Buy-back Policy

At Le Roi we strive to offer better rates than most financial institutions when buying your diamond from you. We determine this value by applying a stringent evaluation process based on Rapport value an Exchange Rate.
